Short tale: The princess of the garden

Once upon a time there was a little girl as pure as a snowflake and with a heart as noble as crystal. She lived in a small hut on the top of a mountain, far away from all reality and civilization. She lived with her parents and they were always happy, until one day, a witch appeared, envious of this happiness and began to create spells to do evil.

The girl, with her parents, always went to cool off in the afternoons to a river near their hut, along with all the animals that lived with them. They were people who adored nature in all its combined creation.

The witch full of envy observed that the girl adored her parents, so she decided to harm her deep inside. She gave her father a malicious spell so that he would feel great hatred towards his daughter and his wife. The father could not bear to have them near neither day nor night; the little girl felt very sad, she cried very often just like her mother; the father stopped loving nature, he began to destroy it and spent long periods of time cutting trees, dirtying rivers and mistreating animals.

The girl who could not find a solution to this problem decided to make a wish with all her heart, she asked to be transformed into the most precious flower in her garden. The father came to the garden in the afternoon, and when he went to cut the flower, his daughter’s face appeared, telling him about all the beautiful moments they had spent years ago taking care of her and the environment around them. Then he asked her as a last favor to give him a little kiss for all those precious moments he shared with his family. Her father heard all those beautiful words and from the depths of his heart he kissed the flower. Suddenly the witch who was watching this action exploded into a thousand pieces and her evil spell disappeared.

The very repentant father began to make amends for his mistake, he planted many trees and flowers, besides curing all the mistreated animals; he repaired the mistake with his family; the very happy girl made another wish: to live happily ever after so that nothing bad would ever happen to them and that there would only be spring for many years.
